02 / APPROACH

Clinical judgment backed by clear reasoning.

Before VA exam work, Dr. Bell served for four years as a university psychology professor. He was trained as a scientist-practitioner. That means he uses both clinical skill and research when he studies a question.

He brings together your history, records, interview, test results when useful, and related peer-reviewed research. The goal is a clear answer that shows how the facts and clinical findings fit.

03 / MILITARY FAMILIARITY

A long view of military life.

Dr. Bell grew up in a career military family and spent 18 years as an active-duty dependent. He lived in Air Force, Navy, and Army communities, including overseas.

That is not the same as serving in uniform. It did give him early experience with military culture, frequent moves, and the ways service can affect family life.
